The Lira banknotes are to be used along with other legal currencies for transactions in Grouchia. As an early effort to establish functionality of the currency, all Grouchia's territories are to begin the circulation of the Lira banknotes as a transaction method, along with their host countries currency. Grouchia mainland is to use Lira with Malaysian Ringgits while New Burong is to use the US Dollar alongside Grouchian Lira.
This is a step vital in order to introduce the currency while slowly circulating the currency as an official currency of Grouchia; said the Chancellor.
The currency was first introduced during the reformation period in late 2021, but it was never printed and never been used as an official currency neither. The government is planning to print the second batch this year and might start to put them on sale to banknotes collector, also an effort to build the economy of the nation by trade, domestically or even internationally.
